Three New Faces at GrowthMD
At GrowthMD, we're not just growing the practices we work with; we're growing our own team too. And we're pretty picky about who joins us. We look for people who understand the unique world of medical practices, who genuinely care about helping clients succeed, and who bring a bit of personality to the table.
Our three newest team members tick all those boxes (and then some). Meet Divy Doshi, Dan Nguyen, and Nitai Findlay.
Divy Doshi | Client Manager
What does Divy do at GrowthMD? Divy helps doctors run healthier practices. He simplifies the numbers, handles compliance, and serves as a sounding board whenever clients need one. For Divy, success isn't one-size-fits-all; it's about helping each client reach their goals, whether that's improving the bottom line or getting more of their time back.
Something you might not expect:
Before he worked with numbers, Divy worked with diamonds. He used to polish them in his dad's business back in India and can still set them into jewellery. As he puts it: "These days I work with numbers instead, which are slightly less shiny but much easier to find when you drop them."
If he wasn't an accountant?
Divy wanted to be a pilot as a kid; his plan was to keep a notebook of every button to press, just in case. Probably for the best that he stuck to spreadsheets, where pressing the wrong key just means a quick Ctrl+Z.
Dan Nguyen | Accountant
What does Dan do at GrowthMD?
Dan brings experience across a range of industries medical, construction, retail, and primary production which gives him a broad perspective on what makes businesses tick. He focuses on making accounting and tax less complicated. He explains things in simple terms and helps clients stay compliant while making informed decisions. No unnecessary jargon, just clear guidance.
Something you might not expect:
Dan is a keen traveller with a serious appetite for adventure (and food). He's always looking to discover somewhere new and experience different cultures, preferably with a great meal involved.
If he wasn't an accountant?
He'd probably be running a food review channel. Getting paid to eat and travel? As Dan says, that sounds like a pretty good alternative career.
Nitai Findlay | Senior Accountant
What does Nitai do at GrowthMD?
Nitai joins us as a Senior Accountant with a background in medical accounting, so he's already well-versed in healthcare's financial landscape. He'll work on end-of-year compliance and support our advisory services, making sure your numbers are in order and helping you plan for what's ahead.
Something you might not expect:
Nitai has been playing drums since he was 10 and used to gig around town nearly every other week with his band. (Check them out on Spotify: @vaguefum his words: "shameless plug!") He plays less these days, but still makes time to jam out when he can.
If he wasn't an accountant?
He'd be doing something music-related, teaching drums, joining an orchestra, or playing across a few bands. Though he admits he's not sure he'd love the "struggling artist" lifestyle.
Each team member brings something special to GrowthMD. They've got the technical skills, the industry knowledge, and, just as importantly, the personality and passion to build real relationships with our clients.
